Attaching the Amador Kestrel nesting box to a 4x4 wood post is a very secure way of installing the owl house. The hardware we recommend using includes 2 bolts to go through the top and bottom of the house (holes are pre-drilled) then through the wood 4x4, and 4 washers and 4 nuts (1 nut to secure and 1 as a jam nut).
