The Amador Predator Guard protects your installation against would be predators like rats, raccoons, bobcats, etc. These 30" tall predator guards sandwich onto a wood 2x2" post. Available in coated steel, painted steel, and copper. Contact us for custom sizes or materials. (Also available for 4x4, and 2x2, see other product in our bat and birdhouse catalog.) Made in USA, of domestically sourced material when available. Bonderized steel is actually Galvanized G90 that has been put through a phosphate bath and has a layer of Chromate applied and dried leaving it ready to accept paint. Bonderized can also be left without paint and will develop it's own gray patina.

The Amador predator guard is designed to prevent predatory animals from reaching the bird house. The guards are very easy to install, they are 2 pieces that clamp on. Given that wood surfaces vary in size during the 4 seasons we do recommend applying some adhesive or even hardware to keep the guards firmly attached.
