Amador Barn Owl House Sun Shade XL, Cedar Paneled
Amador Barn Owl House sun shades keep interior temperatures up to 15 degrees cooler. Our extra large version (XL) oversized shade roof is elevated above existing roof. Includes the top and all mounting hardware. Cedar paneling on top extends life of the roof, and adds aesthetic value. Also available in white. Not necessary for all for climates, but highly valuable when required. Made to order, allow 3 weeks.
For areas where day time temperatures exceed 85 degree high daily for the months of May and June, we recommend using the sunshade panels on an all white Amador Barn Owl Box. Image shown shows cedar paneled owl box with cedar paneled shade roof. Sun shades install on the outside of the box and are elevated off the box to provide shade coverage of the box. With an East or Southeast facing owl box, sunshades are only ever necessary on the top and if still needed, the West side of the box.
